Integrated production plan scheduling for steel making-continuous casting-hot strip based on SCMA

Abstract

This paper research the coordination matching problem of three key process with steel making, continuous casting and hot strip rolling in steel production. The steel making-continuous casting-hot strip rolling integration production plan scheduling model is built based on packing model and vehicle routing model. This paper proposes a new Symbiosis Coevolution Multi-objective optimal Algorithm (SCMA) which combine genetic algorithm (GA), artificial bee colony (ABC) and firefly algorithm (FA) to solve the integration plan scheduling problem. In this new algorithm, the hot strip rolling plan is scheduled firstly by FA considering resource constraints, energy constraints and process constraints. Then based on the production needs of hot strip rolling, casting plan and charge plan with no constraints are generated as the initial population to schedule the casting plan and charge plan considering the production constraints of casting plan and charge plan by ABC and GA. The proposed method has been verified availability and feasibility to solve this integration production plan scheduling problem by comparing the single process scheduling result.
