Abstract

According to Lee (2022), the Coronavirus Pandemic has precipitated how we operate and behave. The increased demand in the textiles industry has deployed the sophistication of features in information technology in the manufacturing and production sectors. Wang (2018) highlights that implementing Quick Response has increased flexibility capacity to respond to the higher demand for fast fashion at reduced costs. Song (2020) presents the advantages and disadvantages of implementing information technology within the textiles industry. In light of this, this paper has explored the importance of communication within the industry and how it facilitates various supply chain parties in responding to customer’s demands. Birtwistle et al. (2003). This paper assesses excessive ingestion of fast fashion involvement in social media, with issues such as sustainability in fashion depletion and work practices within the organisation and their suppliers Khandual and Pradhan (2019).
