Abstract

According to Kumar (2020), the strategic management of information systems has become increasingly important for companies in the digital age. Digital technologies and information systems have revolutionised how businesses operate and compete globally (Ellitan, 2020). In this context, cloud computing has emerged as a critical digital technology transforming how companies manage their IT infrastructure and deliver customer services. Amazon, one of the leading e-commerce companies in the world, has been at the forefront of this digital revolution with its Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform that offers a wide range of cloud computing services. This paper aims to investigate the strategic management of information systems at Amazon, focusing on the challenges and opportunities associated with cloud computing.
