Applying quality function deployment in smart phone design

Smartphones are ever-developing and it is clear that Samsung, along with other smartphone manufacturers, will face many obstacles throughout the design process. As such, the application of the HOQ could be of great relevance to Samsung and smartphone manufacturers alike. The product itself being a smartphone opens up a range of features and characteristics that can easily fit with the application of HOQ. Due to this, the problem of how to design a new smartphone is a viable and realistic theme for this paper.
