Abstract
Managers are often required to make decisions that will ultimately affect an entire organisation. This decision therefore needs to be structured and based upon reasonable evidence available to the manager. As with every organisation, managers are likely to face a number of problems that will require effective and appropriate solutions. A problem identified in this report is the high number of resources allocated to the recruitment process for the National Health Service. A clear solution has been identified, with the use of decision trees available to managers. This problem-solving method has proven to still be relevant in the modern era, with a number of benefits available to any organisation using decision trees. As mentioned throughout this report, using decision trees will enable managers to structure and have the correct evidence behind any managerial decision-making process for an organisation.
