Layman's description

The project addresses the critical need for digital skills in Europe by developing a postgraduate, multidisciplinary Digital Transformation Management training curriculum. This curriculum is innovatively focused on Sustainable Development Goals and green growth in industry, aiming to train professionals who are environmentally conscious and skilled in digital technologies. The initiative directly supports SDG 9 (Industry) by promoting efficient resource use and sustainable industrial processes. The approach involves a blended learning module, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application of digital tools, and seeks to reach 5000 young people, SME representatives, and academics. A consortium of universities and industry partners collaborates to develop this comprehensive program. Expected outcomes include defining skill needs, developing a 30 ECTS training module, providing hands-on digital tool training, creating open-access learning materials, fostering transnational university cooperation, identifying best practices in sustainable digital transformation for SMEs, and enhancing youth employability and digital literacy through practical experience.
