Dr Md Israfil Biswas

Dr. Md Israfil Biswas is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and research leader whose work sits at the intersection of Secure AI, cybersecurity, digital resilience, and sustainable technological innovation. With more than 19 years of academic and research experience, including over 16 years in UK higher education, he has established a strong track record in leading interdisciplinary research, securing competitive funding, and translating research into real-world impact.

His research focuses on developing trustworthy and resilient AI-enabled systems, cyber risk management frameworks, and secure digital infrastructures that support organisations in navigating complex technological and societal challenges. He has led and contributed to nationally funded research projects, collaborating with industry, healthcare organisations, government stakeholders, and academic partners.
