Institute for Applicable Computing and Engineering (IACE)

The Institute for Research in Applicable Computing and Engineering (iACE) is a hub for research excellence in broad applied computing and engineering. iACE fosters cutting-edge international cross-disciplinary research in the corresponding fields at University of Bedfordshire.

Our Vision

iACE envisions a world where technological advancement drives societal progress, environmental stewardship, and global collaboration. As we stand in the middle of a rapidly evolving digital and industrial landscape with emerging topics, such as artificial intelligence, sustainable engineering, cyber security, and connected environments, our mandate is to lead responsibly, innovatively, and inclusively. Our institute seeks to transform emerging ideas into real-world advancements that uplift communities and strengthen economies through artificial intelligence, digitalisation, automation, smart system design, and cybersecurity.
