Dr Enjie Liu obtained her BSc in Computer Science at Northwest University in China and a PhD in Telecommunications from Queen Mary, University of London.
Enjie Liu has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, while also serving in editorial roles for international journals. Her research is primarily focused on Networked Applications, notably in healthcare encompassing remote monitoring, medical knowledge retrieval, and disease progression prediction. Enjie has also worked on Network Management, Services, and Wireless Network Protocols, leading and participating in several EU and EPSRC projects.
She is Portfolio Leader of the Undergraduate Computer Science and Technology Foundation and Construction and the Institute for Research in Applicable Computing’s Postgraduate Research (IRAC PGR) lead.
Before joining the University of Bedfordshire in 2003, Enjie had several years of industrial experience in both China and the UK.
