Abstract

The Work-Life Balance Working Group continues to be very active in our mission to bring work-life balance into the mainstream of occupational and organisational psychology. One of the issues that we would like to see addressed over the next few years is the lack of research evidence on the topic originating from the UK, whilst maintaining a fruitful exchange with researchers and practitioners in other countries. In order to further these aims, we convened an international workshop which took place on 5-6 July 2010 at the University of Surrey. The event was co-sponsored by the Division through our Working Group, by the Institute of Advanced Studies (University of Surrey) and by the Business School of Middlesex University.
