Rendering of novel views from photographs using inference in Markov random field

Abstract

New schemes for belief propagation are proposed to allow the rendering of novel views between existing photographs. The image based rendering is cast as a process of inference in the Markov random field, and is entirely image based and requires no involvement of geometry models.
