Reading/writing and a (very) rough sketch of revised English studies (coda to Part II)

Abstract
This chapter is a coda to the book's subject-specific concerns. From an analysis of the criticism/scholarship debate that continues in literature studies, via a discussion of aesthetic experience, I return to the rationale for the writerly turn I advocate for English studies.
