Abstract

Third space practitioners (those working in roles that transcend traditional academic and professional services job classifications) have the capacity to play a transformative role in engaging students with assessment feedback. However, this potential is not always fully realised within higher education institutions. This session will outline approaches that have been adopted at the University of Bedfordshire to amplify the reach, value and impact of third space professionals in terms of engaging students with feedback. This will include discussion of an assessment transformation programme, curriculum framework, team structures and student support referral mechanisms.
