Problems of individual knowledge 1
Research Output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding Chapter Peer-review
Abstract
This chapter develops a general theory of personal knowledge as consisting always in embodied, practical skill. It rejects the widely accepted and-or presupposed distinction between knowledge and skills. Though this chapter operates at a high level of generality, its relevance to the book's subject-specific concerns lays in the claim that problems of knowledge turn out, often, to be problems of language.
