Abstract
This paper presents a new maskless laser nanoscale manufacturing technology to fabricate micro and nano structured surfaces with specific functionalities. Cross-scale fabrication of micro and nano structures on biomaterials (such as metal, alloy and polyethylene) with wear resistant properties. Investigation of conditions and process parameters for cross-scale fabrication of micro and nano structures with specific functionalities (wear resistant properties) for the target applications in biomedicine.
