Private Dance Schools Research 2025/26

This project (funded by Arts Council England) investigates and provides an analysis of uptake of and participation in private dance schools with a specific focus on the following four areas:
1. Understanding the role of private dance schools within the wider cultural infrastructure;
2. Exploring how they support professional pathways and workforce development;
3. Investigating how they promote under-represented and culturally diverse dance forms;
4. Identifying how to increase access and participation, especially across socio-economic and geographic lines.
