Identifying the ‘gaps’ where cloud computing can help computer laws in curbing cyber bullying and cyber stalking in India

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This paper tries to identify cloud computing as an aid to the existing computer law on cyber stalking and cyber bullying in India. The computer laws are there in the country for over two decades, but they still fail to truly identify the tort and its remedial measure. A secondary study is therefore being conducted, as evidential support, to the applicability of cloud computing in computer laws on cyber stalking and cyber bullying. The findings go on to support the claim that the interconnectedness, inoperability and ubiquity of cloud can create various opportunities to nab Cyberstalker and also remove the ambiguity out of the law.
