Abstract
Design Museum Boston presents Green Patriot Posters
Dead End Poster exhibited at Design Museum Boston, New England’s first museum dedicated solely to design, announces the Museum’s first national touring exhibition, Green Patriot Posters, premiering in Boston.
The Green Patriot Posters are uniquely designed to raise awareness of global climate change and inspire viewers to take action. Inspired by World War II propaganda posters, Green Patriot Posters encourage all U.S. citizens to create a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and build a more sustainable economy. These strong and graphically compelling posters are intended to address the crisis of global climate change and mobilize efforts to achieve energy independence, think differently about our cities, and live more sustainability.
The exhibition will include hundreds of unique posters displayed in print and digitally in the gallery at Gerding Edlen’s sustainable residential building, 315 on A, in Fort Point.
The Green Patriot Posters exhibition will tour for two years, traveling to Berkeley, CA, Portland, OR and Chicago, IL.
