Assessing English in the U.K.

Abstract

In this chapter, we will review assessment practices, both for English as a first language and for English as a second language, in schools, colleges and universities, and in community-based learning. In addition, we will discuss the Secure English Language Testing for immigration, study, and professional purposes.
