This project provides a comprehensive analysis of the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Core, examining its construct and 19 item types through the Socio-cognitive framework (Weir, 2005). It examines test specifications, sample materials, and test-taker data supplied by Pearson, comparing these with publicly available information and existing research on CELPIP.
