Biography
Praveen Rashmitha Moonasinghe is a Research Fellow in Energy Engineering at the University of Bedfordshire. He holds an MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Liverpool and a First-Class BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton. His research focuses on renewable energy systems, including solar-thermal technologies, thermal energy storage, and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) turbines for off-grid power generation. With expertise in design engineering, CFD simulation, and materials testing, he collaborates with international partners to develop innovative, sustainable energy solutions that bridge academic research and industrial application.
