Personal profile
Biography
Nicola earned her PhD at CRELLA under the guidance of Cyril Weir, Lynda Taylor and Sathena Chan, using eye tracking to investigate students' reading during academic reading into writing tasks. She has worked in English language teaching and assessment for over twenty years, first as a teacher, then as a teacher trainer and now as a researcher. Her research interests centre around the assessment of reading (both in a first and second language) and how we accommodate and meet the needs of neurodiverse learners and test-takers.
